"Space City"

The Blog I read was on the Burnt Orange Report titled “Endorses Annise Parker for Re-election as Mayor of Houston.”  It’s about who should be Mayor for 2013 in the big city of Houston. The community supported Parker in 2009 and 2011 as Mayor of Houston because of the great job she did. Parker has created jobs, fought crime and built a city for a place to live, work and play, etc. One of her best accomplishments which called “Hire Houston First,” has helped the city with $139 million in business and has provided 6,000 new jobs in Houston. Also she created a balanced financial plan and did not increased taxes. There’s a chance that Parker will win because of her work. This author is obviously directed toward the community within the city to vote for her again to run for Mayor in 2013 because she had made a difference in the city while she was Mayor and for those who will want to see Houston grow and increase more jobs, since Houston is one of the biggest cities in the country. I think the author’s argument is believable because big and small cities deserve a better Mayor that will improve the city. Because of her list of achievements, she deserves the votes of the people in Houston who will want to see the city on a successful path way. I also think the author is making this argument, so people can see that Parker is worthy to be re-elected as Mayor of Houston again.
I agree with the author’s argument on this blog because it gives a point about how every city needs an awesome leader to lead the city whether the city is big or small, but the population in every city needs someone that will make the city better and give opportunities to people, I believe Parker should be re-elected for Mayor again.
